These adventurers almost get more adventure than they were prepared for, and their quest to solve the mystery takes them trekking through cities, facing mysterious and dangerous witnesses, and risking their lives in pursuit of the solution. Will they be able to find out the truth before someone halts their investigation? The Secret Adversary is a twisty mystery that ties together historical events with Agatha Christie’s signature sophisticated plot, and with solutions that are masterfully hidden throughout the entirety of the book. Her second published mystery novel, this title received positive criticism and is an often-referenced story for modern film and television.
